I was finaly about to get these files into PP!
So in the unit "we all live on the earth" there is a whole part about animal sounds. What I like to do for this part of the unit is to start with slides of the animals. I ask the student what is that animal and what sound does it make it Japan. Then I tell them they are wrong and then tell them the animal sound in the US. They all have love chicken (cock-a-doodle-do) and monkey (uh uh ah ah) The animal slides have all the animals that will be in the animal crossing game but one the raccon (Tom Nook)
After we go over all the animals I then starts the guess who game. Now there are two ways to play. A team set up or as a whole class.
I have played this with teams and it has gone over very will. Some of the animals are very easy because the sounds a very close to the US English sound. With these easy animals you may want to make the sound last when giving the hits.
One of my schools is very very genki! Because of this we never have a lot of time to play fun games. So we just played as a whole class. They still did will and have fun screaming the answers at me.
If you play as teams Tom Nook and Blasthers are not linked on the number bored. They are bouns animals and I ask students for their game name.
As someone who doesn't have keynote, I converted it over to PowerPoint and It looks like fun! Unfortunately, the animal sound files didnt convert over so if you could upload the files you used with each animal on a word doc or something, that would be helpful! Thanks
There is no file for the animal sounds because I made the animal sounds live in class.
you are AWESOME!!!
@Mullberry
