Go over what do you call ____ and we call it ____. I like to mention it can be used for vocabulary words too, but it might confuse lower levels, I'm not sure.
Make groups and go over the point system. I gave stickers to the winning group.
Introduce the franchise and then each character name. Some have a hint if the class needs it. I had students write the Japanese names as we went so that they remembered them.
I did a quick review at the end to help them answer the worksheet questions.
