Country Flag Quiz

This is a quick and simple quiz game about country flags. All you need is your PC and the TV in the classroom to project the slides.

The flags are hidden under a bunch of rectangles. A rectangle will fade out each time you click, revealing a part of the flag. If the student gets it right before the entire flag is revealed, you can click an invisible box in the bottom-right corner to move to the next slide (that reveals the whole image).

You can always scale the difficulty of this activity by getting them to say the answer in a full sentence, i.e "That country is ~" or "I think it's ~".
I've been playing this with my JHS 1st graders so I make it a point to only acknowledge their answer if they say it in English!
