"How many...?" Interview

This is a very simple interview activity for JHS New Horizons 1 Unit 3 p.34 "How many _____ do you have?" Students practice asking and answering questions.

Set up:
Edit to add your name on the worksheet for the listening section - where it says: [ALT NAME]
Print worksheets for your class.

Objective:
Students will interview eachother to find out how many items of stationery they have.

Method:
Give each student a worksheet.
First, listening activity. Get students to "repeat after me" to ask each question, then listen to your answer and write it in the table. It can be fun to say ridiculous numbers of each item e.g. 'I have 136 erasers.' They love it!
Check the answers - Ask students: e.g. "How many pencils do I have?", have them chant the answer: e.g. "5 pencils."
Next, it's their turn to write how many of each item they have. Give students some time to count the items in their pencil case.
Then, it's interview time! Students stand up, move around and ask eachother: "How many _____ do you have?"
When they are finished, sit the students down and ask them: "Who has the most _____?" (They won't know 'most', so use gestures to explain.) There is usually one student who has a ridicuous amount of an item, which makes the class crack up. I had a student with 32 pens once!

((For formatting, I use: 'Antique Olive Compact' or 'Segoe UI Black' for titles, and 'UD デジタル UK-R' for body text.))
((Be aware: I always put the month in the top corner of my worksheets, please check it is the correct month!))

@lianneinjapan Thank you. Unfortunately I am only allowed to use iPad at school and for someone reason the Word files look all messed up when I open them, apparently only the pdf file format works well.

Thank you so much again for another banger activity! My students really enjoyed it! Also I think we have a new record of pens. One of my students had 40!
