This activity can be played together as a class, or in teams. It can be used as a warm-up or a full activity.
Materials:
How Many? PowerPoint
Whiteboard + Markers (Optional)
Directions:
For the PowerPoint, you only need to use the SPACEBAR to reveal the answer, then move to the next slide.
If you are playing in teams:
Please use whiteboards.
Split the class into teams, each team should have their own whiteboard. After you give the question, give teams time to discuss, then have them write their answer on the whiteboard. You can give points for correct answers or just make it pure review.
If you're playing together as a class:
After you give the question, students can raise their hands to answer.
Notes:
This activity was originally done in teams with whiteboards. No points were given for correct answers.
There are a mix of easy and challenging questions, so students enjoyed answering what they knew with confidence and learning new trivia for the things they didn't know!
I've also done this activity with both 5th and 6th graders!
