I work at a SHS but we recently had a collab lesson with the JHS next door. Due to it being Thanksgiving next week, we decided to do a lesson to teach about Thanksgiving, have them discuss questions with the JHS students, and have some fun making a card!
Set-up:
Download the PowerPoint or open the Canva. Open the video on a side tab just in case!

Construction paper for each student and some markers to decorate.
How to use:
It's pretty self explanatory but, go through the PowerPoint and then at the end go over how to make a card with the students. I also taught them how to make a hand turkey for the cover (which they thought was hilarious because mine was so awful LOL.)
We had a little extra time in the beginning to meet with the JHS students, so we played Up, Down, Tap, an AMAZING game I found on here.
If you have time left over you can make a turkey and have them make feathers for the turkey of what they're thankful for. I didn't have enough time for that so just the cards was perfect!
I hope you can use this with your classes! It was really good fun even for my hard-to-please high school students, so best of luck!
