I'm not exactly sure what to call this; I originally thought of making a Yugioh game called "Everyone Exodia", but I'm not sure how popular Yugioh is in Japan. Then I made some other themes using the same idea with Pokemon and Dragonball, but then realized you could just play the game with playing cards as well and that's how I got "Flush" instead of "Exodia" or "Pokemon".
Anyways, this is a card game best for reviews or general question-asking.
Format:
- Put the class in groups unless it's small enough
- Use either playing cards or print-and-cut cards provided in the attached files
- Use pickerwheel.com for question prompts or some other method
- You could play this in turns with each group getting a turn, but it moves faster if you have all groups answering the same question at the same time and they must write their answers and turn them in to make a move. Turn order format is up to you though.
How to Play:
- Groups must complete a set of cards in order to win. For example, if you're using playing cards, they must gather a 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace to win the game (these are also the only cards you should put in the deck).
- Groups get cards by answering questions. When a question is correctly answered, they can choose to steal from another group or draw a card from the deck. Groups can only steal after the first round.
- If a group chooses to steal, neither they nor the group they're stealing from can see the card they're stealing.
- If a group has duplicates of a card, they must discard both cards.
- The deck should have half the number of sets as there are groups; for a class with 6 groups, there should be 3 sets of cards (you can increase this number as you like though, 4 or even 5 sets would probably work fine).
I may decide to add a Yugio theme and art in the future, but for now the files I've uploaded just contain themes for Pokemon and Dragonball, sorry!
