The first student rolls a dice and moves the rolled number of spaces. If they hit a '? box', they take a card and attempt to answer the question. If they cannot answer the question, they must move back to where they started.
TEACHING SUGGESTIONS:
This template is as flexible as you want it to be. I use this board game as a way to review numerous grammar points with an interesting aesthetic that good and not easily motivated students in JHS all seem to enjoy.
I only attached 'Can Helping Verb' question cards as a template for you to make your own. I recommend making more than 15 questions because the students will go through the stack pretty quickly. However, you can just have them re-use the cards by shuffling them.
TIPS/CAUTIONS:
Make sure that groups are self-policing themselves with this activity. They are usually pretty good with doing this though. They don't want there group members to win, so they will second guess their answers which has them thinking in English, too.
