You'll have to make your own words/sentences, so it takes a bit of prep to animate everything.
I included a slide with the background image and unanimated letters I used so you can make as many slides as you need!
If there's a wrong guess, you'll click the red 'X' at the bottom. One of five of the Piranha Plant's teeth will appear. Your students get 5 wong guesses, or else the Piranha plant wins!
Note on the animations:
I used different animation effects for the right and wrong letters on my example slide.
Correct letters get the 'Shrink Turn' exit effect. Incorrect letters get the 'Basic Swivel' exit effect for a duration of 1 second (my ppt app defaults to 5 seconds, so make sure to change that.)
Looks nice. If you've used this a bunch maybe include a number of the words or sentences you've used as separate slides so that other ALTs can use it as a quick resource.
Thank you! I'm actually planning on using this as a piece of a full activity that hopefully I'll be uploading later this week or next. Then I'm planning to start making some powerpoints with 5th and 6th grade vocab words, which I'll upload here too :)
