Pokemon Catch Adventure. Useful for Grammar review. Have your class make teams or work together as one group. They can have the opportunity to "catch" the Pokemon if they get the question right. Feel free to edit the Pokemon or the amount of slides, all the transitions will still work. Click on the Pokeball in each corner of the slides to "catch" the Pokemon. Click on the bag in the corner to return to the question screen.
If the PowerPoint below does not work, please use this google slide:

I like this idea! My kids love Pokemon! I have a qustion. Is this meant to be a multiple choice thing? I ask because the question and the answer show up together immediately when the capture the pokemon slide appears. Is there a way to make the answer show up after clicking on something?
Oh also the numbers don't disappear from the grass after they're done. It makes it confusing knowing which ones you already did.
Hello, Kiara. That GoogleSlide can't be accessed by others unless we're given access to it.
As for VinShida's concerns, I think those are like that because the .pptx document was downloaded from an originally Google Slide presentation. Google Slides tries but the effects and animations just won't be the same. What you can do is add the "entrance" animations on the answers either when the question is clicked or on mouse click. Whichever you like.
You can also make each grass disappear by adding an exit animation to each of them. Add a trigger so that they only disappear when clicked.
@kiarathealt nice looking quiz game. @ccabusas. Can you actually add triggered animations when making something in google slides? I have't played around with it much (fortunately) but when I did I couldn't find any options for doing so. Not even sure it supports triggered animations.
@UonumaRobert I don't think we can. We use it a lot in our 6th graders' classes and it's very simple but quite boring. It has the option though to convert a Google Slide presentation to a PowerPoint but it won't be a perfect copy of the original. We can only do so much on Slides. I just assumed that VinShida wants to have those effects on PowerPoint hence the tips.
That’s what I thought but I was hoping I was wrong. With all the kids having google slides it would be great if it were more flexible.
That would be nice indeed. Other JTEs in my city are using Google Jamboard to make interactive games for the students. Jamboards are easier to share and use with the students' Chromebooks.
Nice. I just checked out the jamboard. It looks useful.
