Manners in Canada must/have to

A true/false powerpoint activity with questions about must-know Canadian manners.

My solution to the summer break desk-warming has been pulling together some cultural presentations. I hope the students will find this one interesting!
It is a pretty simple activity. At the beginning is a quick reminder of the meanings of have to / don't have to / must / must not taken from the explanations in the New Horizon 2 textbook. The activity is probably best for students who have already studied all four grammar points, though it could be edited to focus on just must/must not or have to/ don't have to. It would be a great review for third year students too!
Each slide has a statement regarding manners using one of the grammar points. Students can then vote true or false. Click to make the answer appear. Some slides have extra images or information that will appear if you click again. If you want them to get some grammar practice in ask them what each statement means before they answer. You can write the meanings of have to/must on the blackboard if they need some extra support.
I'm planning to spice it up with some personal anecdotes as well.

This would also be a good segue into a writing or speaking activity where students use the have to/must grammar points to explain rules in Japan/in their school.

Images are mostly from Irasutoya.

Used this with my class (changed the "have to" to "must" for my lesson) and hey absolutely loved it. Great little game to reinforce grammar. You have my thanks!
