Which do you want A or B? Eat it all

Students practice "Which do you want A or B?" "I want A." conversation and try to get all the food on the menu.

Have students fill in their menus first. They can use their textbooks to look up the food names/spelling.
Review what the foods are to make sure everyone has their menus filled in.
After reviewing I practice the dialogue with the teacher.
"Which do you want a window seat or an outdoor seat?" have students figure out what is being asked.
"I want a window seat." point to the window seat options and ask kids what to ask next.
"Which do you want apple juice or orange juice?"
"I want orange juice."
"Which do you want a sandwich or french fries?" <- some students may notice why is there an 'a' for sandwich but none for fries.
"I want french fries."
"Which do you want a donut or ice cream?"
"I want ice cream."

Once the dialogue is finished go back and tell students when to add 'a' to foods. Plural foods obviously don't need 'a' since it's more than one. (Curse english and it's random 'a'/'an')
There is an answer sheet you can print out for your JTE. Your 'a' 'an's may be different from mine but these are what felt most natural to me (California English speaker)

When kids get the jist of how to do the dialogue have them do the dialogue once in pairs and to cross off whatever food they ate.

If anyone has ever played a Kirby game, they know kirby loves to eat food so I just explain as 'you guys are kirby, be kirby and eat ALL the food'

Once they eat all the food, I have them do the dialogue with me and I give them a sticker.
