The AET will be the lead on this. As this is designed for special needs students, it is best if the JTE can assist and has discussed the lesson with the AET beforehand.
Once the PPT is ready, go over the letter, pronunciation, and name of the animal for each slide. Say each at least twice and listen carefully to students' pronunciation. Offer correction gently and praise the students often.
Every five slides or so there are some simple questions about the previous animals to keep things interesting. Adjust the questions as you see fit given the skill level of the class.
At the end there is a section to review the names of some of the animals. I chose the ones that begin with some of the most common letters in English in case the AET wants to segue into a game of shiritori.

If this is for special needs students then consider downloading a dyslexia friendly font. Children struggle with serif fonts and this kind of "a". :)
