This is a worksheet for students to write about their dream house using there is/there are.
I give the short 5 min PPT example with photos of my dream house (one example sentence per slide). A bit cute/funny/interesting things like "There is a conveyor belt sushi restuarant." or "There are kittens and puppies." or "There is a hot tub." to catch their interest and hopefully get them thinking with their imagination later.
The PPT last slide also has the worksheet on it with example writing in red so we can go through the worksheet together before they start and they understand what's expected of them. My first grade JHS students really struggle with writing in English so this supports them.
