I originally got this from an ALT in Nagaoka.
It's a really cool looking quiz game.
Play quickly with students raising their hands or as a speak and race activity.
I generally explain the stuff about vegetables not needing 'a' as the game goes along but I don't focus too much on that.
NOTE: I split it into two parts to get around the new downloading rules. I appreciate the new rules and understand why Jake had to apply them but I figure activities like this that can be split up might as well be. Just cut and paste the two parts and you're good to go.
Thank you so much for sharing this one. All the 4th graders loved it! :)
I used this as a warm-up for 7th grade, they loved it!
Nice work! Good 10 minute activity!
This is amazing! Thank you!
I would love to use this activity. Thanks.
Thanks for a great activity! I adapted this for different grades and grammar points. The students really enjoyed it!
I used this in class today, and everyone enjoyed it! Thank you!
This is wonderful! I have used this with 3rd grade- 6th grade and they all love it!
This looks amazing! I'm going to try it out at my ES. Thank you!
This is a great activity! My students loved it so much that I looked up the site with the original gifs and made more questions. All grade levels really enjoyed it.
There are a few other really good gifs. I had cut some since I was trying to avoid plurals.
This is so cool! wish there were other things too though not just fruits/veggies
Yeah I know. I've tried other google searches but animals are the only other thing I've come up with. And those images are way too creepy to use. Maybe somebody could make an alternate version 'What's this? Airport X-Ray Machine!' There might be good images for that.
This is so cool! thank you for this!
thanks
This is perfect for Unit 7 of Let's Try 2
thank you very much man
I used this as warm up for 7th graders in my First class observation. The students loved it and the observers from BOE liked it very much! I got a positive feed back thanks to you! loved it!
My fourth graders last year really enjoyed this! I'm planning to use this now with a different 5th grade class this year for the new Junior Sunshine 5 (Lesson 1 - Let's Play 4) where the textbook somehow preciently knows all ALT have their own "What's this?" powerpoints...
In other words, thank you for this infinitely valuable resource!
These are really good. I like them a lot. Thank you
