Let's Try! 2 - Let's make Parfaits and Pizzas!

Simple to use tablet activities for 4th graders. Students can create wonderful parfaits and Pizzas for their classmates on their tablets.

First off, I'd like to thank Linda's 🌱 Let's make a parfait🍨 4年 What do you want? post. Her post allowed me to find that site and create these activities.

These are interactive tablet activities that the students can use to make Parfaits and Pizzas for their classmates.
I haven't had a chance to test it at my elementary yet but hopefully the site isn't blocked at your schools.

Let's Try! 2 - (Unit 7) Let's make a Parfait!
This is basically Activity 1 on page 28 but in tablet form.
Make an original parfait for your classmate by asking them "What do you want?"
Simply drag the parfait ingredients onto the parfait glass.
You can rotate the ingredients by clicking on the ingredients themselves.
To bring them forward, just drag them again.
There are only 5 of each ingredients.

This is basically Activity 2 on page 29 but in tablet form.
Make an original pizza for your classmate by asking them "What do you want?"
Simply drag the toppings on to the pizza.
You can rotate the toppings by clicking on the toppings themselves.
To bring them forward, just drag them again.
There are 10 of each topping so students can go wild.

Really nice! I like the rotate option a lot!
I wish I knew how to make programs like these too. If you could make a similar program for the other Units of Let's Try, that would be awesome!

    @connichiwow Thanks for your comments.
To be honest I don't know how to program. In fact, I only found out about scratch through Altopedia last week. Scratch is very easy to use and all you have to do is drag and drop commands etc, you don't need to know about coding. There are many scratch activities on Altopedia but I wanted to try it myself and make an activity that suited my classes needs etc.
I wanted to focus on being easy to use and to have it do what the students would want it to do, hence the rotate and bring to the front features.

This was awesome! I remixed it a tad to be an ice cream Sunday so I hope you don't mind! If you do, I can of course delete my version after my class uses it since all it took was me shrinking the glass to be a bowl instead. Either way, thank you again! Liked, and favorited!

@jbjoker2 Feel free to do want you think is best for your students as thats the main purpose of me posting here.
Besides I didn't come up with this idea to start with, I just used the knowledge I gained from other scratch activities listed on Altopedia and did it my way.
Oh, you may want to change your title on your remix as you have "sunday" instead of "sundae".

@Martini Thanks for the permission regardless! Always want to make sure I am not stepping on toes haha.

Also, nice catch! That would have been a fun mistake to see during class time lol!

    Thanks again!

My students really loved making pizzas with this! The only issue we had was since the green peppers are transparent in the middle some of my students couldn't grab and drag them on their tablets because they were too thin. Other than that, this is really great!

@hnnhdwn Thanks for your comment and it's great to hear that your students enjoyed the pizza activity.
As for the green peppers, I found that as long as you make it clear to the students from the start that they need to be dragging on the green parts and not the middle then there's usually no issue at all.
