I made these cards and instructions after reading kirig19's post of Various Special Needs Card Games found here: https://www.altopedia.net/activities/4979-various-special-needs-card-games
How it works:
Make groups of 4.
Pass a deck of twelve cards to each group.
There are two rounds.
In round one, the students will draw a card, and each student in the group will answer the question. For example, 'what fruit do you like?'. Continue until each question has been answered.
In round two, the students will take turns drawing a card, and whatever question is on the card, the other students must try to remember what the person who drew the card's answer was. The first person to say the correct answer gets to keep the card.
The one with the most cards at the end wins.
I made what are essentially two different decks of cards with various 'what do you like' questions on them and a picture to illustrate. I didn't include katakana or Japanese because I originally made these to be used in my elementary 6th grade class after we'd been working with these exact questions in another activity.
You might be able to adapt this for younger students, but I have not yet tried it with students younger than 5th grade.
The cards can be printed double sided with the Monet as a backing to the cards so they aren't transparent.
I also made a couple of slides with the instructions in English and Japanese.
These are all on Canva, so I hope that they will work for you.
