The activity pairs days of the week with foods that the students know. The foods start with the same letter as the corresponding days of the week. Initially students say the days of the week along with the foods, for example "salad Saturday". ALTs should guide students to say the day of the week without saying the food at level three. So using the previous example, "sushi Saturday" should become "Saturday". There are not many words as it is a drill activity focused on students repeating the words being said by the ALT and memorizing them.
