A PowerPoint with the Japanese and then the English for different emotions.
Irasutoya images accompany each slide.
I quickly made this because my JTE asked me to, I thought I'd put it here incase anyone was in the same position.
The PowerPoint will show the Japanese and the picture first, giving time for the students to process and possibly guess the translation before it's shown.
There's 29 emotions/feelings in all, as they're listed on page 付録18 New Crown 3;
busy
frustrated, irritated
happy, pleased, glad
angry, mad
calm
full
sad
disappointed
sick
hungry
hopeful
nervous
fine, good, well
excited
comfortable
scared, afraid
confused
lonely
shocked
worried
bored
tired
upset
sleepy
thirsty
embarrassed
surprised
blue
depressed
It might be too difficult to show at elementary school because of some of the kanji, but if you need it for that it might be worth a shot (or edit it how you please).
Excellent! If I don't get a chance to show the ppt, Ill definitely use it for making reference/study sheets!!
Thank you, Sophie. It's really nice! I will use it in class and at city ALT meetings:)
