Pokemon Warm-Up Quiz

Classic pokemon look added to a review warm up game

  • Before playing, edit the questions to your liking. This game is a warm up to refresh on past lessons, so it should only take 15min or less

  • When you start a battle, music will play with the transition. Let it play out and once it is done, click the mouse/space bar for the question to appear

  • If the students answer correctly, click the red circle and if they are incorrect click the blue X. If they are correct, they will pass on to the next level and if they are incorrect they will get two more tries

  • If they lose all their Health, click the Pikachu to restart the level

  • The music in the transitions can be removed should you chose to run the game silently

  • If you would like different Pokemon in the fight, leave a comment and I will see what I can cook up

Nice, are you making the animated gifs or finding them online?

Finding them. Pokemon has tons of resources for any aspiring ALT to pump up their lessons, if you know where to look

Hey Lucas! This is amaaaazing! I've also tried to make game like powerpoints and animations and just from looking at this I can tell how much time and effort was put in! This is really great, I'm confident my Ichinensei students will get a kick out of this! Thanks a million for this wonderful template!

Wow! This warm-up game looks really fun! I can't wait to try it! There's just one thing I noticed. Raichu is labeled as Snorlax on Round 3. I figured out a way to fix it well enough myself, but I figured I'd point it out to you anyway, just in case you'd like to fix it for anyone else that wants to use this game in the future too.

      Fixed. Thank you emilie

Hello Lucas! May I ask "where to look" for those resources? This is amazingly well done, and I am hoping to add a few more slides to it for a year-end review as opposed to a warm-up.

Hey this is amazing! Thank you!
I wonder if you could make a version replacing hitmontop with lucario or something (though I know that might be difficult for the last slide lol)
I was playing this game with my elementary students who were loving it and trying to guess who was next, then Hitmontop came up and the room just went silent lol. No love for Hitmontop (though I think they just don't know it)

Anyway even if you can't, thanks for a great game!
