Wherever you may be from, feel free to use and edit the presentation as needed.
First, I'd start by reviewing the conversion rate of the Philippine peso to Japanese yen. Next, I'd click the restaurant icon and tell them, "Let's enter the restaurant together!" It would take you to the slide with the interior of the restaurant and if you click the mouse, it would show you the waiter and customer and the target question and answer. I suggest practicing these a few times with the students because they will be used throughout the presentation. Then, instruct students to ask you the question and pretend that you don't remember the menu so let's check the menu together. Click the menu icon and it'll take you to the first page of the menu. There are several ways on how you can practice the target language with the menu pages but this is how I'd do it. Ask a volunteer student to stand near the screen and ask the rest of the class to ask him the question. Start with the appetizers and once the volunteer student has decided which he/she wants to order, click the picture of the food and it'll take you to a slide with a bigger picture and a gif of that food. Ask the student if he/she is sure he/she wants that. If yes, practice saying the target answer with all students. If not, click the home button to go back to the menu. Repeat the steps until all sections of the menu are covered.
Play around with the presentation to see the function of each button. I hope this helps.
This made me extremely nostalgic. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely use this in my classes.
This makes me giggle just thinking how I'll introduce Pinoy foods to my kiddos. Thank you for sharing!
