Have students guess what 5 letter word you're thinking of. I've included lists of all the 5 letter words in in the index of the Here We Go 1-3 textbooks. This would be a good review
How to play
(optional: put students into teams)
Give the students the vocabulary lists and the worksheets. Students will try to guess what 5 letter word the teacher is thinking about. After writing the word, the students will write the meaning in Japanese next to it. Then, have the students check with the teacher. The teacher will mark each letter with an X, a circle, or a triangle (see PowerPoint for meaning). You could also demonstrate this on the board if you don't have access to PowerPoint during class.
Set a timer for 15 minutes. Most students will only be able to guess one word within that time frame. But, I've left room for up to 4 words. Feel free to modify the worksheet as you see fit.
I use https://wordlegame.org/wordle-generator and then I put the link in https://www.the-qrcode-generator.com/ I show the QR code on the classroom TV. Students scan the code and have it straight on their iPads.
On the Discord, "trust_me_im_a_stomach" shared {https://word.rodeo/} which makes a link and QR code instantly.
