The worksheet has 15 different pop culture characters with a box with three images: A country flag (USA, the UK or Japan), a sports ball (volleyball or baseball), and musical ability (sing well, piano, or guitar).
How to play:
· Choose a character, then write their name in the box at the bottom of the page.
· Make pairs.
· Play janken to see who goes first.
· Pairs will take turns asking "Are", "Do" and "Can" questions to figure out each other's character.
These are questions from Unit 1 of New Horizons they should ask:
1. Are you from ____?
2. Do you like ___?
3. Can you ________?
· Once they think they know who their pair's character is, ask “Are you (character's name)?”
· In the box at the bottom where they wrote which character they chose, there is a column where the winner can place a O and the loser can place an X.
Additional Information
There is also an optional second page where students can write sentences about the characters they picked and about themselves.
I have included a PDF, word document (if you want to make any changes to font or character for your own copy) and the PSD of the box if you want to edit your own three things boxes some kind of photo editing program like I used.
