NH⑤ Unit 2 materials (When is your birthday?)

Printouts to practice dates, holidays, ordinal numbers. Designed for use with New Horizons 5 Unit 2.

Unit 2 introduces:
- dates
- "When is [HOLIDAY]?"
- "What do you want for your birthday?"
- "I want..."

Dates are a very difficult topic, for speaking as well as writing. These materials are designed to help practice them. Included in this folder are:
- Holiday date writing practice
- Holiday/month word search
- Cardinal, ordinal number hint sheet

For this unit, at my schools we do the presentation activity exactly as it is in the textbook. It's a bit silly and there's no real writing practice, which is why I use these prints to practice writing before the presentation.

Thank you, these are great. I think this is one of the few cases where a katakana pronunciation guide is acceptable. Ordinal numbers are really difficult for Elementary Y5's.
