What is this?
It's a set of relatively simple crossword puzzles that I show to my ES students for them to solve. I usually leave it as a passive activity and post it up in the hallway or a classroom board. I let it sit for a week or two and hang a pen near the activity for convenience. Students occasionally work on it between periods or at the end of the day when they have some time before leaving school. I add corrections or hints as needed.
It can also be used in class for 5th or 6th grade ES as a team/group activity, where they try to spell the words out loud and take turns guessing the next letter in a word.
