This is heavily modeled after an activity one of my second year JTEs did for their class that I thought was amazing. The second year JTE at one of my other schools asked me to make an activity for this same page. I made it similar to the other JTE's activity..... Only to find out the second JTE that asked me to make an activity forgot they asked me and taught it already... 😅 So I'll post it here!
I have put the instructions in the notes of the powerpoint. There will be no reading from page 81 unless you want to mention it afterwards.
I love making small worksheets, but the worksheet can either be printed 1 page per sheet or you can select the option to print 4 pages on one sheet of paper. The text and images are big enough either way and you save paper!
The train map used for the activity is the last slide in the powerpoint. It should be printed in color as they will say "blue line" "green line" "purple line" etc. Be careful not to accidentally print the whole powerpoint and specify that you only want to print x number of copies of slide 10. you can print the map on A4 or A3 paper if you want.
I'm really thankful to the JTE for this simple activity. I would have used a train map of Tokyo if I didn't see their activity.
