First print out 6 copies of each of the verbs at the beginning of the slides.
Then split the class into groups and give each group a set of verbs.
Review the verbs and make sure they know the meanings.
Show them the example problem. Read the sentence together and ask the groups to show you what verb goes in the blank.
If they get it right give them points. To make it more interesting I like to bring a 20 sided dice to add randomness to points.
Go through each of the slides until question 15.
The last question is very difficult so the students get to bet their points. If they get everything right, they get the points they bet. If they get anything wrong, they lose the points they bet.
The last question uses each word once, have the students determine the order.
Thanks. This will be a great review activity. I noticed that on a couple of slides you wrote 'would' instead of 'were', just FYI.
Thank you for the corrections! I'll be sure to fix them.
Cute game! Thanks.
