ABC fast or slow

Low stakes and low pressure game most fit for JHS or even SHS students. The categories can be switched out and changed for decrease or increase of difficulty. It can be played in groups or indivuals.

The ALT or JTE/OTE asks the group/student, "ABC fast or slow" based on the students command of fast or slow, you say the alphabet in your head slowly or fast. They also tell you when to stop, and the letter landed on when they say stop is the letter for the round. They must fill all categories with words that start with that letter. Example, the basics of the categories are Boy, girl, animal, places, and things and lets say you land on the letter R. They have to write a boy name with R, girl name with R, animal with R, so on and so forth. Please time each round based on how difficult and quick you want it to be, I suggest1min. You say stop and they MUST stop writing, blank space or not.
Each category is worth 100 pts, if they are the only group to write their answer. If there are duplicate answers, you share the pts (down to 50pts or even down to 25pts) And 0pts for blank spaces.
There is also a tally section for them to write the total points for each round that way when the game ends, the winners can be identified for all their overall points for however many rounds you play.

P.S you can change up the categories to nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, etc.
You can also make it more intersting by letting the students or each group per round decide when to stop (if the kids are competitive, theyll get a kick out of it)
