Toad's Mystery Prize Machine

A fun luck based game for third grade elementary using food and color vocabulary to help with unit 5 'What do you like?'.

Inspired completely by 'Toad's Mystery Box Game' and 'Which Present Do You Want?'. I just wanted to jazz it up a bit. I've found my students get super excited if they feel they're playing an actual video game.

The premise is quite simple. We have the students in our classes pair up with the person next to them. The whole class is then prompted to ask either 'What color do you like?' or 'What fruit do you like?' depending on the round. You then tap the insert coin button to prompt the slot machine to spin which reveals a choice of two answers. The pair then answers 'I like ...' to receive their prize. Tap the color or fruit they choose to reveal the prize. Just like the two games that inspired this there is one good prize and one not so good prize. Even though they don't win any real prizes this seemed to a get a real laugh out of the kids which is great fun! It got glowing reviews of 楽しかったです :)

There is also a vocabulary check before the game starts right after the title screen.

This is my first submission to this website so please be kind. I welcome any feedback!

I have created a tutorial for the slot machine animation. Please feel free to check it out here- https://youtu.be/Fa4Qpnkhphk?si=s-FQ6hCEOWJ_1F5E
