    These are name tags I used for all of my JHS students. Print them, write students names (or have them write them), laminate, and cut them and then use clips to attach to shirts or Japanese nametags.

    This is a quiz made for end-of-year fun with my junior high school students. It introduces the idea of slang, why it is useful, the types of English slang, and of course, a quiz!

    New Crown 2 Get Plus 6 "Could you ~ please?"- Students do a conversation practice game and get a card with a secret role, "mean teacher" who always responds no, or "nice teacher" who always says yes.

  • JHS Google Maps: Could you tell me how to get to ?

    Students choose a place they want to go by train from their school. Using Google Maps, they write a conversation where someone asks for directions to this place. Then, they talk in pairs!

  • English Conversation Practice Questions

    This is a long list of English questions you can use for any reason! I use them to begin my classes and sometimes when I want to wander the hallways and ambush students with English conversation!

  • 2 Truths, 1 Lie: JHS 1

    A classic game you can edit to practice many grammar points! Students write truths and lies about themselves and then tell each other 2 truths and 1 lie. The listener must guess the lie!
