Wow, another person who uses the get a full set rules for Go Fish. I was shocked a couple years ago when I discovered this was how some people played this game. We always just played for pairs. Nice powerpoint. Simple and easy to follow.
Thanks UonumaRobert! I must admit I actually couldn't remember the rules as I hadn't played since I was about 6 years old. I just followed the rules in the translation I found. Perhaps adapting it to pairs instead of full sets would be more suitable after all.
I've always played it in class with the finding pairs rules. Just because that's how I played it as a child. I've no idea what is better or correct. Maybe try both ways with different lessons. That gives you two slightly different games you can teach the kids. Go Fish and Go Fishes.
