Specific to the NEW HORIZONS 1 textbook.
My JTEs like doing "Eiken style" speaking tests at the end of each semester so I made these in advance. I will make some for 2nd and 3rd years eventually, too. It's not really Eiken style because I don't quiz students on the pictures provided, but they're meant to test students on their reading and listening comprehension.
I also turned them into worksheets that you can use as a warmup for your end-of-the-semester class, if you'd like. I would pair it with a presentation or display your own copy and explain the answers with your students. I just cast a PDF copy from my tablet onto the TV and underline the answers students provide. Would be useful to do in groups as well, since some students (this age especially) struggle with reading. At least mine do, lol.
