Activity

Tetris

An activity based on the grammar of NH3 P. 73

For this activity I would first use the powerpoint (Unit #5 Scene #1) to remind my students of the grammar. And for each example I would call on a student to make a sentence. Then after finishing the examples I would move onto the activity in which is a game called Tetris. Rules are layed out in the powerpoint both in English and Japanese. Basic rules are each row is a team, everyone stands up at the beggining of each round, and the student in front starts. Once each team finishes the round they sit down. Overall my students had a blast and hope your students does as well!

      What's the tetris part?

@ChibiGojira I think that's what they chose to call their version of whisper down the alley or the telephone game with a twist.

@bonolo123 is correct. This is basically what I chose to call my version ^_^. Because I think of the rows sitting down when they finsh like the Tetris blocks dissapearing.
