GAME UPDATE FEB 7th, 2023: You can now click on the HEART button to make them disappear and re-appear
Aloha! Another Sailormoon-themed activity!
My students have all enjoyed the "wipe out" style games and I wanted to try my hand at PowerPoint and make one with a Sailormoon theme.
I've tagged my wipeout game inspirations, have a look at them, it's all amazing, and they explain the game much better than I can.
I have included an "example" slide; you can use it to show the kids how the game works if they haven't played it already.
NAVIGATION
Player Select Menu:
Tap on the characters to display "selected" when a team has chosen.
(Not really a necessary step, but I thought it adds a nice "game" feel)
Question/Answer Slides: (12 Questions) Slides 9-20
**Change the Questions and Answers
**I animated the "answer" block to come from above so that it would be easier to change the questions and answers, than when they would overlap.
Click next to display the question, click again for the answer, and click again to make it disappear.
Two ways to play:
Have your kids take turns writing the answer on a whiteboard
OR
Have your kids each write the answer with a worksheet
I did add a worksheet for you to use if you'd like
~After the teams have answered your questions, show them the answer, then have them pick which row they want their character to stand on.
*Tap on their character to move them down the lanes.
**Tap the hearts to make the character disappear and reappear.
(Also probably unnecessary action since the characters aren't cluttered together, but I was just having fun with my newly found PPT skills, I may have gone overboard...)
**Make sure the answer has disappeared from view because the villains' image will pop up later.
~Tap on the buttons: Ready-Set-ATTACK and the villain will shoot their attack across a lane causing the sailor soldiers in that lane to DISAPPEAR! The remaining soldiers will get the point +1.
Click again to go to next slide and continue.
I play this as a RANDOM point game; all teams will write the answers and I check (will correct or give hints when its wrong), then have all teams choose which lane they want to go to.
There is a couple of slides with TWO losing lanes XD The kids think they got the pattern figured out, they won't know what hit them Muahahahahah!

Love the attack animations. Regarding the heart to make them vanish, you might want to add something to bring them back just encase a heart gets hit by mistake. Maybe a shadow of a heart to jump them back in.
This is totes cute! Great job!
great
@UonumaRobert
Ahh hello! 😱 It’s like I’m talking to a celebrity!
Thanks for the pointer, I’ll go and work some PPT magic on that. :D Thank you!
It’s a great looking game. This template has been very popular with my classes. I was very happy when Jiggsmith posted the original.
Thank you for this! Excited to use it with my English club group, they're Sailor Moon fans!
Thank you all for the kind comments. :) I wish I could see all your kid's reactions XD
I've updated the game, now you can click the HEART again to have the character come back.
Do you by any chance have a google slides link to this? I absolutely adore Sailor Moon as well!
