It's me again, back with the Kahoot quizzes. These are a few of the quizzes I use the most frequently for my 4th graders.
The ALT will need to host the quiz from their own Kahoot account, and the students will join via their tablets. Students don't need an account to play a Kahoot quiz.
The ALT should read the word aloud to the student, and the student should then click/touch the correct picture/word. I usually play by the special rule of students have to repeat the word first before they can answer, that way they are listening and speaking a bit too. (It also adds an element of urgency too)
If students have a hard time joining the quiz, check that they are typing the game pin using 半角 (half-width from the English keyboard) numbers and no space between numbers.
① Unit 2: Verbs & Routines
② Unit 2 & 3: Days & Weather
③ Unit 4: What time is it?
④ Unit 5: Do you have a pen?
⑤ Unit 6: ABC vs abc
⑥ Unit 7: Fruits & Vegetables
⑦ Unit 9: This is My day

Thank you so much for these! Hugely appreciated
Cheylinn , Good stuff to run a review lesson on different points.
Would you be able to upload 1 to 7 kahoot materials all in Powerpoint files ?
I would like to get them and do a bit of modification , adding Japanese , replacing images ...
Sorry, I don't think it's possible to download these quizzes as PPT files, so I don't have any files available to share with you.
If you want to edit the quizzes, you can make a Kahoot account, make a copy of the quiz you'd like, and then edit it as you see fit from there.
Thank you so much! These are wonderful! :)
These are awesome, thanks so much!
I'm not good at computer. This kahoot game looks nice. I wanted to learn this. Hope someone can teach me. Thank you in advance.
Kahoot is fairly intuitive to use once you get started. I have attached a PDF that explains a little bit how to use the app, but I think that you would probably understand it better if you can find a YouTube video that shows how teachers use the app. You can also try testing out a Kahoot by yourself using your PC/phone too (computer starts the quiz, use your phone like you are the student playing the quiz and see if it works)
