Details are listed in the powerpoint in both English and Japanese. So basically this game works like battleship. Where each player will have a board in front of them (on their ws) and they will mark 5 of the boxes with an "X". Those five X's are their lives. So first player to lose all five lives first loses. They will play Janken to decide who is student a and who is student b. Then they take turns trying to hit their openents X's by practicing the grammar. Finally after letting them play for a while then they will turn to the back of the worksheet and write some sentences based on the information they collected in the box. Overall my students enjoyed the battleship game with a space theme twist from the arcade game Galaga. Hope you and your students enjoy as well!
