  • Hugs And Kisses

    Students practice constructing sentences using two simple present tense verbs while playing a huge game of Tic-Tac-Toe.

  • Have You Ever Interview

    Introducing the question, "Have you ever ~ ?" and having students interview each other.

  • Connect 4

    Students try to collect four passive cards of the same kind playing a game similar to the game, Go Fish.

  • Twister

    Students try to twist their bodies/limbs into various pretzel shapes to correspond to the ALTs instructions.

  • Vocabulary Wars

    This is a vocabulary battle that can be used with any small set of vocabulary. It is great for younger classes, but can work with any grade.

  • Polite Conversations

    Students practice speaking and polite conversation with a fun comic.

  • I have (just/already) point cards

    Students try to get the most points by taking time cards and making sentences about what they've just/already done at that time.

  • Where Is It?

    Students try to guess the location of an object.

  • Are You Going To Match Up

    Students mingle around, trying to find their matching partner while asking/answering "Are you going to..." questions.

  • Smooch And Pooch

    Students learn basic greetings and self-introductions while passing around Smooch & Pooch and introduce themselves to 10 of their classmates.

  • Magic Box Scramble

    Teams race to unscramble the Magic Box story. Then, they answer questions to receive 'magic words', which then forms a 'magic question' the teams must answer.

  • When Are You Free?

    Students try to guess which character their partner has chosen.

  • Who Is It?

    Students draw various characters and the students guess the character by their clothing.

  • Will Interviews

    This is a very basic, quick and easy "Will you ~?" interview game.

  • Opinion Interviews

    Students review and learn new adjectives and then poll their classmates about different topics.

  • "How was" Memory and Lesson Plan

    Students practice using the phrase "How was" (How was your weekend, lunch, etc.) by playing question-answer memory and then writing their own "How was" questions.

  • Know Miffy

    Students ask each other reduced relative clause questions to gather various peoples' names.

  • Bomber Man

    Students answer questions to force their classmates to sit down or stand up.

  • Mt Fuji School Trip

    Students learn to buy what is necessary for their Mt. Fuji camping trip.
